A new partnership with the University of Amsterdam

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the University of Amsterdam. Our social media analytics platform will be supporting the UvA’s Communication Science students in a business focused research project, led by Dr Wim Elving.

The  insights and social media data that BirdSong Analytics provides will help them to analyse how organisations are using digital channels for stakeholder dialogue and engagement.

Speaking on the first release of data to the university, Dr. Elving, who has published many papers on trends and developments in corporate communications, said: “I am very impressed, this exceeds my expectations. Our goal is to see how organisations are using digital channels to enable dialogue with stakeholders and with the help of Birdsong Analytics my students can select posts to see how organisations are connecting with stakeholders. The data provided by Birdsong Analytics is very valuable and is actually their first step for my students in Big Data analytics, that is already very important in Communication Management and PR.”

The partnership between BirdSong Analytics and the UvA is our latest agreement with a globally recognised University. Last month we announced our partnership with the University of Southern California (USC), working with both undergraduate and MBA students.
