YouTube SEO and video optimization is key to gaining more views and appearing higher in search results. Our YouTube Analytics will identify a number of areas to improve to better optimize your channel’s videos.
Download video metadata for the selected channel, including the date uploaded, video length, category, title, the number of views, likes, dislikes, and comments.
Gain insights into how factors such as video length, and category impact each of the channel's video's views and engagement rates.
Analyze the channel’s activity to see what time and day videos are uploaded. Identify the frequency of video posting and check the elapsed time between the date of the report and the last video uploaded.
Our YouTube Analytics reports and data can be used to help you optimize your YouTube strategy in many ways. Use our YouTube Analytics to find out what content works best, identify which videos are most engaging with your audience, and enhance your marketing strategy to gain more views.
The goal of YouTube is to gain views. By optimizing your video content, you can increase the likelihood of your videos being seen, shared and commented on. BirdSong YouTube Analytics will reveal which of the channel’s videos have a too long title, too short descriptions, descriptions that do not contain a call to action, and videos without tags.
Here are some examples of how our customers are already using our YouTube Analytics reports.
BirdSong YouTube Analytics allows you to rank all video uploads by the total number of views, total amount of likes/dislikes and comments for any public channel so that you can carry out your own data analysis. This means you can research the YouTube statistics for clients, competitors and other public accounts that you’re interested in.
YouTube does provide in-depth analytics for channel owners but access to this is restricted to those with the login/password to the account.
If you want to look at other channels, YouTube does provide some top-line figures. For example, you can view how many subscribers each channel has and for each video uploaded, you can see the number of views it has achieved and how many subscriptions it has driven. You can also see the number of likes, dislikes, shares, and comments it has reached. However, the YouTube platform does not currently let you interrogate this information in any more detail or to download export it for your own offline analysis.
BirdSong YouTube Analytics is used by agencies, publishers, researchers, journalists, legal firms, data analysts, SMEs, charities, large corporations and individuals across the world.
